As has frequently been the case my visit to the Gloucester and Warwickshire Steam Railway on Saturday 7th May 2022 coincided with a main line rail tour to Worcester. It was most convenient to spend a few hours watching the steam hauled services at a couple of locations either side of Todddington. On this occasion the motive power was predominantly Western Region with Churchward 42XX 2-8-0T 4270 and BR Manor 78XX Class 4-6-0 7820 DINMORE MANOR. At the end of the day ‘Peak’ diesel electric 45 149, previously D135, was used on the 15:30 from Broadway.
