On Saturday 12th December 2020 the Midland Pullman, with power car 43055 leading, was seen from Back Lane bridge over the Midland main line at Cossington. The outward run was essentially a twenty-first century repeat of the original from London St. Pancras to Manchester but via the Hope Valley as the through route over Peak Forest is, like Manchester Central Station, no longer available. This is a beautiful train!
