After a most enjoyable visit to the Nene Valley Railway two weeks before to see 60103 FLYING SCOTSMAN, I could not resist another trip to see and photograph the pioneer BR Standard locomotive 70000 BRITANNIA. The weather was good although not quite as good as on my previous visit but, with much smaller crowds, the photography was easier. The locomotive was very well prepared and seemed leak free and very efficient. Fewer photographs but even more enjoyable than my previous visit.
