"The Great Britain XII" on Sunday 5th May 2019 was severely delayed as a direct result of widespread lineside trespass. Time loss was so severe that Gresley A3 Class 7P 4-6-2 60103 FLYING SCOTSMAN was unable to continue beyond Reading and the train never reached London Paddington.
