The "York Yuletide Express" on 17th November 2018 ran between Ealing Broadway and York. The outbound run was hauled by 6233 DUCHESS OF SUTHERLAND and the return, which ran late when it was too dark to photograph, was hauled by 60009 UNION OF SOUTH AFRICA. The strong east wind made photography difficult as the exhaust steam blew down on the engine and train.
