At last Flying Scotsman is back on the main line. After running in on the ELR and successfully completing test runs and a trial main line trip the locomotive was painted in lined green and the nameplates were fitted. The first trip was one way from Kings Cross to York - only the wealthy or invited guests could afford this luxury outing. I'm a bit disappointed with the pictures; but the target shot at South Muskham is as intended.
