Our normal practice when visiting North Wales is to return home on the final day via the Talyllyn Railway. On this visit there was an additional train operating, for special guests only, with locomotive No.6 DOUGLAS. This made our visit particularly special as the extra train was running in connection with The Centenary of The Royal Air Force.
