My plans for Sunday 23rd October 2022 were dependent entirely on the weather; the forecast was very poor but I had hopes for a decent afternoon in the East Midlands. Th morning was atrocious as forecast but after 11 o’clock the rain eased and so I set off to travel to Quorn via Leicester where I had some business to transact. The main reason for venturing out was to visit the Quorn Wagon and Wagon group exhibition but there was bound to be an opportunity to photograph a few trains as they were passing. Quorn Wagon and Wagon is quite a small group but they have done some amazing work in recent years without much support from the GCR Company. I am very pleased to report their event was very well received by the visitors and they deserve more recognition for their efforts. Well done indeed and the passing trains looked good also.
