On Sunday 27th May 2018 the Great Central Railway operated a normal summer timetable even though it was a Bank Holiday weekend. Thunderstorms were predicted but we were fortunate to avoid any rain and the sun shone for most of the time. Trains ran to time so, all in all, it was a perfect day to relax by the lineside.
