As Paul had not joined me at Abbey Lane it was likely that we would meet at Tapton Junction. He was there before me after travelling from Grindleford. I have always hoped that one day I could photograph two trains either converging or diverging from the old bridge at Tapton Junction. Sunday 6th March 2022 was such a day when 1F20, the 13:55 from St.Pancras International to Sheffield with 222 020 leading 222 010, headed north on the main line just as 45627 SIERRA LEONE came round the curve on the old road from Barrow Hill.
