"The Cheshireman" on Saturday 13th November 2021 was an excursion from Bristol to Chester and return hauled throughout by 60163 TORNADO. All was well on the outward journey as far as Hereford where it was held for almost two hours while investigations took place following the discovery of a body, presumed human, on the line between Ludlow and Woofferton. I had waited at Bayston Hill for as long as I dare expecting that I needed to be south of Hereford by three o'clock but the sight of smoke in the trees south of Marshbrook led me to return to Little Stretton just in time to see TORNADO heading north.
