On Spring Bank Holiday Monday, 28th May 2018, the GCR ran a 45 minute interval timetable with two steam and one diesel locomotives. The morning was dull and rather gloomy but fine, that turned into a bright warm and sunny afternoon. It presented me with an opportunity to visit some of the places I rarely visit.
