"The Last Hurrah" of 2016 on Sunday 20th November was not blessed with good weather. It rained for most of the day, varying between heavy showers and light drizzle. Photography in such conditions was, to say the least, difficult. Trains ran reasonably to time until the very late stages when, as the light finally failed, the 15:30 and 15:45 booked departures from Loughborough were yet to make an appearance.
