“The Yorkshireman” excursion for Railway Touring Company on Saturday 11th June 2022 benefitted from the inclusion of a Type 4 diesel electric locomotive 47 746 at the rear of the train. This inclusion would facilitate movement of the empty stock and reversal at Gascoigne Wood during the return run.
