The first location on Sunday 4th August 2024 was a revisit to Tyseley to repeat my attempt at a panoramic view of “The Shakespeare Express” as it came out of the cutting from Acock’s Green. This time I was reasonably confident that the train would run as booked on the main-line. The photograph was successful but I actually prefer the other images I collected immediately afterwards. The usual trip to Stratford followed with lunch but I did not manage to reach the station as I ended up in an interesting conversation on the road bridge while the locomotive was running round. My second location was just north west of Solihull Station which I have used many times as it is so convenient.
