On Sunday 10th April 2022 the Great Central Railway was operating the normal Peak-Season Timetable with two steam locomotives and one diesel in service. In addition to the passenger trains at least on driver experience run passed through that I did not photograph and the green diesel multiple unit ran one trip between Loughborough and Rothley. A complete surprise was a light engine trip with Deltic 55 019 (D9019) ROYAL HIGHLAND FUSILIER. The day was fine throughout but cloud increased progressively, particularly during the afternoon. Unfortunately the railway seemed to be very quiet but I enjoyed my day very much.
