"The East Midlands Rambler" was a Vintage Train's tour from Tyseley to Burton upon Trent using the normally freight only line in both ways through Coalville, Leicestershire. The locomotives were very reliable but the timings were, for the most, part completely useless. Still the two pannier tanks provided a popular spectacle for lineside observers and, I expect, and interesting journey for the passengers.
