My trip on Saturday 18th February 2017 was a pure gamble over both the weather and the locomotive. The forecast was for rain in the northern fells and there was uncertainty about which locomotive Carnforth would provide. As it turned out each of my locations was dry (just) and the Scot was leak free and going well!
