With no trains operating at the Great Central I turned to The Battlefield Line for some post Christmas entertainment. It seemed highly likely that Leicestershire would enter Tier 4 for Covid 19 before the New Year so I visited as soon as possible when their services began on 30th December. Correct decision - David! Tier 4 started at 00:01 on New Year's Eve. Although the services were all worked with a two car DMU, it was a most enjoyable day with which to end my 2020 photographic year. Let's hope for a much better 2021.
