The weather forecast for Saturday 29th December 2018 suggested that the cloudy day may have more sunny spells than either of the two previous days and so a return to Loughborough was a sensible option. CROMWELL's ticket will soon expire and any chance of seeing this great engine in decent light should not be ignored. The combination with 45305 was an added bonus - two of August 1968's finest over fifty years later and still in steam!
