Mail by rail was important business for the railway for very many years. The most charismatic of these services were equipped to exchange mail without the need to stop the train. At its main events the GCR demonstrates these processes up to three times each day. SR Schools Class 5P 4-4-0 926 REPTON had just completed the exchange at Quorn and was slowing gradually as it passed Rushey Fields Farm on Sunday 6th October 2019.
