2nd July 2017 was another undistinguished Sunday on the GCR. Services were operated by 8F 2-8-0 48624, Standard Class 2 2-6-0 78018 and Brush Type 2 A1A-A1A D5830. All trains were effectively on time and the weather was warm and dry with a steady improvement in the afternoon.
