Saturday 26th January 2019 began rather dull, damp and dreary for the early trains but improved steadily into a bright, and at times sunny, early afternoon. It ended wet again soon after I departed for home around 16:15. The trains ran close to right time and seemed to be well loaded which was good for the Great Central Railway.
