On Saturday 15th August 2015 BR(LMR) Princess Coronation Class 8P 4-6-2 46233 DUCHESS OF SUTHERLAND made an "on time" departure from Carlisle with the up Cumbrian Mountain Express. As a consequence the train made a brief stop in the up loop at Plumpton. The train is seen accelerating towards Penrith near Stoneybeck.
