With no main-line steam in operation in England on Saturday 17th October 2020 I made plans to visit The East Lancashire Railway. Unfortunately it was announced on Friday 16th that Lancashire County Council had been placed under Tier 3 restrictions for corona virus. Also Greater Manchester would have also suffered a similar restriction had it not been for a stubborn Mayor seeking financial support. Clearly it was not the place to visit so I made last minute changes and went instead to the Gloucestershire Warwickshire Steam Railway where I had a very enjoyable day's photography.
