Some important diary dates in early September made our planned trip to North Wales impossible but a reasonable weather forecast for the North-West and steam over the S & C on three consecutive days offered an altenative venue. Accomodation booked and timetables printed, the weather forecasters changed their minds and Sunday was destined to be very wet for "The Waverley". But Bank Holiday Monday and the following day were expected to be O.K. The images in this gallery show LEANDER in the rain! Please see how we faired with "The Dalesman" on the following two days.
