The weather forecast for Good Friday 30th March 2018 predicted an essentially dry day for Loughborough until late afternoon. I thought therefore that I might be able to make more progress with the view camera experiments. I was too late to set one up for the first train at 09:45 so that had to be the box EOS 6D. The Shen-Hoa HZX45II and Horseman 45HD were used for the morning departures with varying success levels. The lunchtime period of activity was interupted by rain showers and all recorded images were obtained using the EOS 6D and 70-300L lens. I set-up the Linhof Technikarden S23 with the P21 back in the afternoon using a Hasselblad quick mount so I could put the camera back in the car whenever it rained. Not quite as reproducable as I had hoped, but this was meant to be a learning curve or at least a refresher course. Eventually, in pouring rain, I abandoned 70013 OLIVER CROMWELL on the last train and returned home still hoping for some decent weather on another day.
