"The Yorkshireman" on Saturday 19th October 2019 was booked for steam haulage from Ealing Broadway to York with diesel haulage on the return leg. The outward run was fine as far as the railway was concerned but closure of a short section of the M1 Motorway resulted in long delays that resulted in only one location to observe steam. You win some and loose many!
