In memory of the former Great Central Railway station, yards and railway village of Woodford Halse, the GCR ran a commemorative event involving a special timetable and some renumbered locomotives. Black Five 4-6-0 45305 was turned out as former Woodford resident 44984 and 8F 2-8-0 48624 masqueraded as sister loco 48095.
