The first day of 2020 meteorological spring, Sunday 1st March, coincided with a dramatic change in the weather. The dull wet conditions throughout February tansformed into long sunny spells with occasional heavy showers. The GCR off-peak Winter timetable was thrown into disarray by out of path DALEX operations effecting predominently the 12:50 and 13:00 departures from Loughborough. It was however, overall, a good day for photography.
