The first place I visit after arrival at the GWSR is the bridge over the line at Hayles Abbey Halt. The photograph was merely to determine one of the steam locomotives that were in service and the direction it was facing. On Saturday 17th October 2020 the 10:00 from Toddington to Cheltenham was worked tender first by 7903 FOREMARK HALL. The other booked locomotive was 7820 DINMORE MANOR and, on my last visit, that too was facing north.
