Stanier Class 8F 2-8-0 48305 was seen returning to Loughborough with the dining car express on Sunday 12th December 2021. This had been the only passenger train of the day that operated from and to Loughborough Central as the Santa trains were running with passengers on a Quorn-Leicester-Quorn circuit.
