I expected the ECS for the 13:50 "Santa Express" from Quorn to leave Loughborough much sooner than it did to allow adequate time for passengers to board. However, in spite of this being the date when the earliest sunset occurred in 2021, the light on 73156 was excellent when it emerged from the A6 road bridge, GCR No.337.
