Just before “The Cheshireman” came into sight a ‘Pendolino EMU’ passed at speed on the down fast so I expected to see Stanier Jubilee Class 6P 4-6-0 45699 GALATEA swinging through the reverse curves when heading north past milepost 103 on the down slow line.
