It seems that steam hauled specials to York in the Festive Season carry either "York Yule-Tide Express" or "Christmas White Rose" names. On Wednesday 15th December 2021 there were two such excursions; one by Saphos and the other by Vintage Trains. Both had former LMS motive power and were scheduled to arrive in York only eleven minutes apart. As things turned out, both were late and they arrived in reverse order to their schedules. That's life in this brilliant hobby.
