The prospect of any reasonable photographic opportunities for the weekend of 15-16th May 2021 seemed most unlikely based on the weather forecast. However the announcement that D5185 would be involved in goods train Guard training on the Saturday enabled me to decide to risk getting wet as there should be double the chance of reasonable pictures. As is so often the case the predictions were excessively grim and some reasonable images have the late BR period atmosphere which I had hoped to achieve. And I didn't get very wet!
