The weather forecast for Loughborough on Sunday 26th November 2023 could not have been more different to the conditions that prevailed on the previous day. In contrast to the bright sun, we were led to expect very dull weather throughout but rain was not predicted until after 15:00. The dull weather was certainly accurate but rain began at about 13:00 and increased progressively resulting in me leaving early and missing the 14:45 departure from Loughborough. In many ways low light is easier to handle than bright contrasty conditions but, for me, rain is a non-starter.
