I expected that "The Cumbrian Mountain Express" on Saturday 3rd August 2019 would be hauled by 35018 BRITISH INDIA LINE. Unfortunately I was severely delayed on the way north by police closing the M6 motorway in both directions between junctions 36 and 39 while chasing an offender on the wrong carriageway and then, no doubt, collecting evidence. Having missed the main event, I went over the top in the number of photographs on the southbound run. Rather a case of never mind the quality, count how many.
