Sunday 8th April 2018 was one of those days when it wouldn't stop raining. The weather forecast wasn't too bad with showers indicated but the reality was much worse. I reached Woodthorpe in time to watch the last two departures but there had been delays due to shunting manoeuvres up the line. Why do service trains not have priority?
