On a day with poor weather forecasts I opted for the GCR as the better of the two possibilities although I should have preferred double-headed black fives to the GCR's offerings with the 8F facing north, the standard five facing south and the two car blue DMU. Of course, as luck would have it, the 8F worked the three passenger turns to the 5MT's single run on the diner.
