"The Moonraker" on Saturday 8th April 2017 involved an early start to catch up with the train after it had stopped for almost an hour in Didcot. It was a beautiful day with continuous sunshine but a fair breeze to keep the temperature comfortable. The locomotive, 5043 EARL OF MOUNT EDGCUMBE, seemed to be the complete master of the job throughout the day.
