Is the new train operating company, Locomotive Services TOC Limited, destined to follow the path we have come to expect from WCRC? Well, if the last minute replacement of 46100 ROYAL SCOT by 34046 BRAUNTON still masquerading as 34052 LORD DOWDING is anything to go by then maybe our hopes of a more responsible organisation are ill founded. However, apart from a nine minute early arrival at Shrewsbury, "The Welsh Borders Explorer" on Sunday 29th April 2018 ran close to published times and made all its expected stops. Well done.
