Sunday 20th June 2021 was always going to be difficult due to several factors. The weather forecast suggested the afternoon would be better than the morning for photography and so it turned out. However it was necessary to go to the shops early in the day and that almost ensured that I could not see the first train. In the end I missed its arrival at Leicester North by a few seconds. Finally I expected that I might have to return home after the diner had made its outward run and so it turned out - just as the weather began to improve! Such is life, which I hope will bring many more opportunities.
