With no mainline steam on Saturday 28th April 2018, the GCR around Loughborough seemed the best option. The weather forecast wasn't too bad and the motive power was all green. In truth the weather was simply awful, it rained continuously all the time I was there, from 09:30 until after 16:15; that covers all Loughborough departures. Please join me in pictures on a thoroughly miserable wet day!

Nice set, up to your usual good standard. The two old lenses have produced very good results, particularly the one used at Woodthorpe. Good vibrant colour from a day, when the light did not help you.
