On Saturday 22nd September 2018 FLYING SCOTSMAN hauled "The Ynys Mon Express" in both directions between Crewe and Holyhead. The weather was mainly dry but dull throughout unfortunately. The locomotive seemed to be in excellent condition and performed well throughout the day.
