After the last train had departed from Loughborough at 16:15 on Sunday 8th May 2016 a whistle sounded repeatedly in the region of the GCR station. It was high pitched and unfamiliar compared to the regular locomotives. When the roller appeared over the A6 road bridge I just had time to walk down the lane and capture the accompanying images.
