With no feasible or sensible mainline steam on offer over the Easter period, the GCR daily running from 27th March to 5th April 2018 presented an opportunity to do something I had wanted to do for some time. I could use my large collection of technical view cameras without worrying about loosing a shot due to issues with setting-up. The first Tuesday and Wednesday were written off due to poor weather but Thursday 29th had a good weather forecast that suggested I could keep the cameras dry. See how it turned out. I had six cameras with me but managed to secure images from only two view cameras.
