As far as my visit to the Birmingham Area on Sunday 21st July 2024 to see and photograph “The Shakespeare Express” was concerned, I had no problems except for some minor issues that were due entirely to my own incompetence. Both return trips ran very close to booked time and were hauled, reasonably predictably by 5043 EARL OF MOUNT EDGCUMBE. The issues are described in the photo captions.
