Although Sunday 15th September 2019 was primarily about "The Shakespeare Express" I thought I should have sufficient time to photograph the first three departures from Loughborough if all went to plan. This was simply not to be. I expect the roster was re-organised due to a steam locomotive failure and the replacement faced north, ran late and had a cylinder drain problem. Such is life!
