My visit to the GCR on Sunday 26th May 2025 was short with both a late start and an early finish. It was not a special event but featured two home fleet steam locomotives and a DMU. A surprise bonus was the Class 50 diesel electric making several untimetabled moves up and down the line. The early departure for home was due to light rain ahead of the last up train which would have simply duplicated two previous photographs.
